When I was a kid my neighbor was in love with anything having to do with flight. John Hutchings grew up to become a pilot and he had model planes of all the great 50's air force planes.I was a bit of a plastic model buff myself. (Loved the smell of that glue!) And so I felt right at home today at the Pima Air and Space Museum here in Tucson. Every conceivable plane from the last hundred years is there. I have the pictures to prove it!
The highlight was the B-17 Museum where we were treated to a half hour lecture by and actual WW2 B-17 pilot who flew 28 missions over Europe.Excellent session!!!
