Moving Day

Today we packed up and made the trip over from Ft. Myers to Stuart. We are in our new site and boy it is a gem!!

Our park is on the Okeechobee Waterway near Lock #1 in Stuart. It is a great place and we can sit and watch the boats go by as they lock through. What tickles me the most is we locked through here a few years back on our own boat.
This is Cross Roads, our Irwin 38 which we owned and sailed on the Intra Coastal Waterway for 12 years! Boy did Joanna and I have some great adventures on that boat as we sailed over 6000 miles together between New Bern, NC and Cape Coral, FL.

Now we have traded our sea yacht for a land yacht. So far many adventures on our bus as well, including a trip to the west coast 2 years ago. Hoping to go west again next year.

Today we had a frustrating start to our trip. We tow our car and it is equipped with a special safety braking system. Today I couldn't get it to work, so Joanna had to drive and follow me over in the car. just another challenge to overcome in the traveling life.

Looking forward to getting settled in here tomorrow!
