"I don't wanna work...I want to bang on the drum all day!"

Traffic here in Stuart is epically snarled. It's bad enough that millions of Yanks like me have invaded the place, but full blown road construction in high season? Kanner Highway, a main artery, reduced to one lane? Could any of this stuff be done at night? I could drive to Syracuse and back from Pulaski in the time it takes to go 10 miles around here.

The good part of being endlessly stuck in traffic is that it allows me to feed my latest oldies addiction. I have a great oldies station on the car radio endlessly putting out classic music. What a pleasure! I don't know how long my oldies craze will last but it shows no sign of burning out any time soon. And that explains the Todd Lundgren lyrics in the title of this post. Also, the weather is spectacular this week so who cares?

I did some fishing the other evening with no luck as yet. There are definitely fish in here, but I haven't been able to figure out what they want. i'll keep trying!

Last night was pizza by the campfire with good friends, Kathy and Skip. A delightful evening and I even roasted some marshmallows!!
