This is the first rainy day we have had since we left Pulaski. So we are taking it easy and I did some planning for my big 50th class reunion ( a never ending task) Joanna made some soup yesterday and today it is cool and damp and a perfect soup day.
I recently learned that the sailboat I owned for 12 years, Cross Roads, is docked about a mile from my location. Strangely it is tied to the exact same dock we had it on several years ago when we spent a month here. Hard to believe!!! We have been invited over to see it on Wednesday and I am excited to see an old friend where we made so many happy memories!
Played some Yahtze with Joanna and she is hard to beat. I did manage to squeak out a win in the third game. Overall another routine day in paradise. I am reading "Winter of the World" by Ken Follett, a great rainy day endeavor. OK, gotta go eat my soup!
