Almost every day I go to the "Y" here in Stuart for a workout. I usually spend about an hour and I have developed my own exercise routine. I do some cardio and strength training, and if the gym is empty I go in and shoot some hoops. I have found that regular exercise has had a very positive effect on my health and well being. Joints are less stiff, I have more energy, and I really feel better than when I sit around. I love sitting around, but when I do I always feel worse.
As someone who has had some health issues including RA and a heart condition, I have never felt better and my medication list has grown a lot shorter! So I am making a pitch to each of you to get out there and exercise! Start small and do it every day! Let me know if it works for you! As for me, I'm gonna try and pull a George Burns!
