Moon River

Yesterday we passed by Moon River.  Yeah, that's the one Andy Williams sang about.  If I coulda anchored there I would have, but the entrance is silted up and impassable.  That darn song danced around in my head all day yesterday!  And again today!  Maybe now that I said this it will be outta my head and into yours! :-)
Anyway, I did sing it to my sweetheart.  It wasn't the most memorable of moments, but I tried my best.  Here are the lyrics for you:

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker you heart breaker
Wherever you're going, I'm going your way

Two drifters, off to see the world
there's such a lot of world to see
We're after the same rainbows end, waiting, round the bend
My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me

On another note, Joanna and I are sitting here at anchor watching a family of wild boar walk the beach.  Pretty cool.  Guess I'll cancel the beach walk for this evening.   Then again...I do have my shotgun!
