John mentioned they were going to the Mets game today and asked if we wanted to join them. Why yes! And what a wonderful day we had. Tradition Field is a splendid facility and our seats were perfect as you can see. AND.....the Amazins won 8-2 in a typical early spring training game, filled with bad fielding, especially by Atlanta, and a few stellar plays by the Metsies.
It was a sellout and attendance record, but we were comfy and enjoyed all that Tradition Field had to offer. It was a great way to spend a beautiful weather day.
On the way home we were feeling peckish so we stopped at Too Jays in Vero for a tasty meal. Ahhhh, delightful day!
Tomorrow we hit the road on a run up to visit cuzzints in Port Orange! We will miss our new friends but hope to see them again soon along the way.
It is so peaceful and calm and quiet here on our mooring tonight. I can hear crickets ashore.
