On the hook at NASA

We had a great travel day today: 67 miles!  That is a lot when you are averaging about 7mph.  We also saw a great deal of wildlife today: pelicans, dolphin, 3 ospreys, cormorants everywhere, and a manatee. Loved seeing the manatee with its mermaid tail sticking up out of the water. These kind of sightings will be the routine from here on out.  Pretty cool! Heading through a prime manatee zone tomorrow!

We are anchored off the NASA Space Center for the night.  I can see some rocket displays and the launch area. Pretty cool, also. It looks to be a beautiful night under the stars in an anchorage i love. This is my third time here.

Wow! A manatee just surfaced right next to our boat!
