Here are the pictures I took while in Vero Beach. To say that this is a retirement community is an understatement. I think I was the youngest person I saw during my downtown visit, and I ain't no spring chicken. Very pleasant town and everyone was nice, including the lady who has owned the drug store since 1956! While I was in there an elderly gentleman came in to buy some Aleve. I suggested that a little Johnny Walker might be a better solution to his pains. He replied, "It's because of the Johnny Walker that I need this stuff."
Happy Valentine's Day! Keep posting, even though I am envious of the weather there. Is Joanna off shopping -is that why there are fewer pictures of her? miss you both.
ReplyDeleteIt's a major production for me to get off the boat when we're anchored or at a mooring... we don't have a walk through transom. Since I've seen Vero Beach last time we did this trip I don't feel deprived. I've enjoyed listening to nature and relaxing. Steve keeps me updated on what is going on.... We'll be at another Marina on Sat. so I should be able to get off more easily then. Happy Valentine's to you as well and all who see this message! Have a GREAT day! Joanna
